My family's favorite Apple Cake - it's very easy to make
Ingredients for the cake:
2 green apples un peeled & diced
3 eggs
11/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup of sweet red wine
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 full teaspoon of baking powder
Handful of raisins / walnuts - optioanl
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together with the eggs in a large bowl.
- Pour batter into a large cake pan and bake 45-50 minutes.
- Check with a wood stick that the cake is dry.
* Nice to be served warm with vanilla ice cream on top.
