Cooking Vacations - Fruits with Tahini Crumble
Ingredients (for 6 servings)
4 cups fruits (mixture of fruits of the season, such as peeled pear, apples, strawberries diced, halved peaches, halved and seeded loquats, a nectarine cut to four, plums etc).
1 Tbs. lemon juice (needed when all the fruits are sweet)
2 Tbs. sugar
5-10 pieces of allspice
Optional: cardamom and anise star
For the crumble:
¾ cup whole flour
1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup pure tahini
3/4 cup light brown sugar
50g cold butter, diced
- Arrange the fruit in a heat-resistant baking dish. Sprinkle the lemon juice, the sugar and the spices on top.
- Prepare the crumble: mix the ingredients by hand or with a food processor until you obtain a crumbly texture.
- Spread the crumble evenly over the fruits.
Bake till golden, for about 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla or malabi ice cream to enjoy this delicious dish!
