Cooking Vacations - Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
1kg. strawberries
750 gr. sugar
Juice from 1 lemon
Instructions
- Mash the strawberries to chunk pieces with a ricer rough in a cooking pot.
- Add the sugar and start heating.
- After about 10 min of cooking on medium flame, add the lemon juice.
- Check consistency of the jam, by pouring a bit of the mixture on a cold plate.

The jam should not be too fluid and not too strong. It is ready when it just stays still on the plate.

Fill the jam into clean jars after it is cool.
